Grafting is a form of cloning in which plant tissue from two different plants is joined together. Grafting is an ancient technique that probably originated somewhere in the Far East.
Grafting makes it possible to create many trees of the same variety, or several varieties of the same tree.
In the grafting course, you will learn which trees can be grafted onto what, how to grow your own rootstocks, grafting techniques, cutting exercises, and building and shaping a new tree.
Grafting is exciting to do in your own garden. At the same time, it is useful knowledge to spread, so that new trees can be made from scratch and old trees can be preserved.
The course runs over two evenings, March 26 and April 23.
The first course evening includes theory and practical grafting training. On the second course evening, we make our own fruit trees.
Included in the course you get 4 rootstocks and a compendium.
Duration approx. 3 hours both course evenings (total approx. 6 hours).

In 2025, Swedish poet and singer Dan Fägerquist goes on tour. He has previously released two albums with lyrics by Russian singer Vladimir Vysotsky and made several critically acclaimed tours in the Nordic region. Now he sings his own songs in his own way, but with a tone reminiscent of the truly great ones. Don't miss this!
"With a magnetizing presence, Dan Fägerquist enchants the entire room. You can almost touch the air. Image-rich and enigmatic stories, as introspectively brooding as they are whimsical. Searching, painterly, lingering and ambiguous." HYMN (SE)
"Dan Fägerquist is about to enter the great Swedish music tradition." STRÖMSTADS AVIS (SE)
"Raw, naked, vulnerable, sucking, roaring and strong. And funny." SUNDSVALLS AVIS (SEE)
"Fägerquist sings as if his life depended on every syllable." PITEÅ AVIS (SEE)
"Fägerquist mesmerizes from the first to the last chord". SHANSON (RUS)
"In the middle of existence. The voice drips with existential fervor, sometimes cracking, hissing. Desperate, nauseous and wistful, but above all as a great declaration of love to the real and tormented life, to the dirty and naked truth, to weakness and lack."
