Risør is known as "The White City by the Skagerrak" for good reason, take a city walk through one of Europe's best preserved wooden villages.
- Skipsrederhusene on Solsiden - see the impressive white-painted "patriserhusene" that testify to the city's prosperity from the sailing ship era
- Kamperhaug and Tangen - explore the city's charming districts where pilots, fishermen and sailors lived, with small white wooden houses in narrow streets
- Risør Church - the beautiful church from 1647, one of the city's oldest buildings. Free guided tour is possible

Risør is known as a cultural municipality, and not without reason! Here are some highlights from this spring's program:

With Easter falling late this year, there are good opportunities for spring temperatures and outdoor activities
- Risør Aquarium - see sea creatures from the local area up close every weekend and every day during the Easter holidays.
- Easter workshop at Risørhuset on Saturday, April 12, 11 am - 1 pm - Children can paint figures, make yarn showers and stamp cards.
- Charlie and Sjokoladefabrikken at Risørhuset on April 10 - 13
- Explore Urheia - a beautiful nature area in the middle of the city with exciting old fortifications, a playground and safe nature trails.
- Bystranden - a pleasant sandy beach on Holmen in the middle of the city, popular with families with children
- Randvik - two fine sandy beaches and nature reserve, playground and parking.
- Find treasures in Risør's niche shops and second-hand stores, and on April 26 there is the Risør Market at Torvet.

- Randvik - an area with two beautiful sandy beaches and a nature reserve, perfect for family outings
- Risørflekken - a 20-minute walk to the city center's highest point
- Kyststien - follow the beautiful coastal path from the city center out to Randvik
- Kastellet - visit the old fort from the Napoleonic wars with a view of the harbor
- Risør Havbad - a floating sauna and sea bath in the middle of town
- Take a picnic to one of the many viewpoints in the area

Jon Løvland from the Innakva Cluster will present opportunities and challenges in aquaculture - the value chain both on land and at sea.
Business meetings are organized by the business manager and Risør City, everyone is welcome.
The aim of pruning is to give the plants new, fresh growth.
By pruning, we will strengthen the plants and achieve new growth, which in turn will result in healthier and fresher vegetation.
In the course, we cover pruning, trimming, removal of specific parts, to achieve a desired result.
The course consists of theory with a good review of the above, and you will receive a compendium of the course.
The course instructor is gardener Arnulf Garthe.
The course has a duration of approximately 3 hours.

In 2025, Swedish poet and singer Dan Fägerquist goes on tour. He has previously released two albums with lyrics by Russian singer Vladimir Vysotsky and made several critically acclaimed tours in the Nordic region. Now he sings his own songs in his own way, but with a tone reminiscent of the truly great ones. Don't miss this!
